Here, what all you need is to take out some time for yourself. Trust me, half an hour is more than enough. You cannot live your life without a purpose. This might sound scary, right? But, you have to set a purpose for your living. Just stop, wait a minute and think "Are you going in the right direction?" If you are not even aware of where are you going or where do you have to go, congratulations then, "You are now far away from your right path and the purpose." Self Introspection leads to self-improvement, helps you keep a quick check on yourself and also helps you ensure that you are living the best you can.
What are questions that you should be asking yourself in that "half an hour" you have taken out for yourself? I can truly understand you might be quite confused in this regard. Just have a look at the below-mentioned pointers which highlight the basic questions that you have to anyhow ask yourself:
- Am I really wasting my time?
Just figure out that whatever time you are spending on your day to day activities, is that used wisely? Just ensure, you are making the best possible use of the whole of the time you have without even wasting a single minute. Imagine your condition after 5 years from the present and then set yourself accordingly. Doing a job that is offering you a decent pay but not making much use of your skills, you are not able to get any knowledge or learning from it then I think it is a waste of time. Think of it as it is the essential one to be considered.
- Am I a victim of negative thoughts?
Do you experience negative thoughts before going to sleep at night? Well, swipe it off. This is not a thing to carry yourself with. It is said that the thoughts that stuck your mind are the indications of what all is going on in your life nowadays. So, start from here. Do good things, stay happy, worry less and then notice. You will obviously get lesser and then no negative thoughts during the sleep. Notice and take out the factors responsible for negativity in your life and then take them out.
- Am I physically fine?
Stay hygienic and eat healthy stuff as much as you can. Just being mentally fine but physically unfit cannot lead a happy and satisfied living. Being physically fit can be summed up in two simple steps and they are:
Eat well
Sleep well
Get mobile
Build stability
Stay strong
Get fit
Be specific
However, there are endless number of questions that one should be asking himself during the self introspection but the above three listed pointers hold the major importance. The most important person in your life is "you" and no need to change for anyone else because YOU ARE AMAZING THE WAY YOU ARE.
